Through the energy and imagination of parishioners, the Adult Faith Formation (AFF) program continues to develop. Offerings are intended to help adults not only deepen their own faith commitment, but also to do so in community.

Typically, the following are a part of a year’s programming:
Events often include, in rotation:
Week Sunday sessions focus on the formation of those wishing to become Roman Catholics and for those already Catholic who have not received First Eucharist or Confirmation and thus seek to be fully initiated Catholics. For Further information, please contact Mary Romo at romom@usfca.edu or (415) 422-6033.
A Parish tradition now invites guest speakers, experts in a variety of fields, who are free to join us for the summer. Often the lectures have been sponsored together with the Joan and Ralph Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Thought at the University of San Francisco. For further information, please contact Dan Faloon at faloon@usfca.edu or (415) 422-2195.
Over the past few years occasional courses on art have been scheduled on such topics as Women in the Bible and the Image of Christ. Exhibitions and related programs sponsored by the Manresa Gallery have added significantly to the discussion of art as a means for doing theology. The eventual opening of an Emmaus Center in a west church alcove will further enhance opportunities for education and meditation on visual imagery. For further information on art plans, please contact Fr. Jim Blaettler, S.J. at jrblaettler@usfca.edu.
For nformation about present and future Adult Faith Formation plans, please contact Fr. John A. Coleman, S.J. at jacoleman@usfca.edu or (415) 422-5752.
