The professional staff is trained to assist you in growth issues of family life such as:
Experience shows that talking out one’s inner feelings within the counseling process is necessary. It is an effective way to deal with many interpersonal problems. This process of counseling is a normal way of dealing with the complicated stress of contemporary family life.
Our staff has many professional resources. We meet together for case consultation with other professionals in the fields of psychiatry, family law, morality, ethics, clinical psychology and spirituality.
As Catholic counselors and therapists, we perceive that when people relate to one another, they relate to Christ, who said, “If you give to these brothers and sisters of mine you give to Me.” [Matt 25:40] It is our opinion, then, that this counseling process is a movement toward God. We consider this to be the context of the therapeutic work we do.
We serve all ages, groups, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds, reflecting the rich variety of families in the Bay Area.
Institute staff members are counseling professionals whose fees are based on the financial resources of those seeking counseling.
Appointment with the staff can be arranged by contacting Margaret Walden: e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 422-6520.
