On the eve of Palm Sunday, April 1, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, you are invited to come to St. Ignatius Church for a time of retreat and prayer, in preparation for Holy Week. In the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, points for prayer will be offered once an hour, and readings will be shared for personal reflection. Come for a few minutes or for the afternoon. Opportunity for reception of the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered.
In the coming weeks, our Elect (those preparing for baptism), Candidates (those baptized in other Christian faiths preparing for reception into the Catholic Church), and adult Confirmandi (baptized Catholics completing their Sacraments of Initiation) will be participating even more fully in the life of the Community as they approach the occasion of the Easter Vigil, where they will complete their initiation into the fullness of the Body of Christ. We ask your prayers for them and their sponsors as they continue their preparation.
The Campaign for St. Ignatius Parish is a once-in-a-generation fundraising effort to maintain a San Francisco Institution, and help it thrive as a dynamic Catholic parish today.
