Accessing Services
An individual should first contact one of these independent Licenced Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) for a confidential phone consultation. Their problem-solving process begins with staff listening to the concern and then collaborating with the individual to address the specific need or concern.
If you seek peace and tranquility, you will certainly not find them so long as you have a cause for disturbance and turmoil within yourself.

More about the Jesuit Institute for Family Life (JIFFL)
JIFFL celebrates a 40 year history of providing global support in the form of counseling and psychotherapy services! We serve a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, couples, individuals, and families. JIFFL serves as a back-up system for parish priests, religious sisters and school principals, who may not have the time or expertise to deal with complex family issues. “Ninety-nine percent of our clients are Catholic, but we’ll see anybody from Anglicans to Unitarians as well as non- believers,” says Fr. Bob Fabing.
JIFFL staff is composed of Catholic religious and laypersons. Staff therapists are licensed, trained and experienced. Counseling fees are set by client income; sliding scale is available. Referrals outside JIFFL may be provided by staff when appropriate. JIFFL does not accept insurance.
