Join us Sunday, September 8 at 11:30 am (in-person), or Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 pm (Zoom).
As part of “Bringing All to God’s Table,” a ministry of the St. Ignatius Parish Anti Racism Committee (ARC), come immerse yourself in an on-screen depiction of contemporary US immigrants of color. We will view and have a meaningful discussion about Little America’s “The Indoor Arm” in-person on September 8, after Hospitality; and remotely on September 12, 6:30-8pm. We’ll strive together to more deeply understand the complexities of racial justice and the Christian mandate to welcome strangers. Christian inclusion is integral to fulfilling Christ's mission.
In “The Indoor Arm,” a woman from El Salvador who is an amputee adjusts to living in Beverly Hills and struggles to connect with sister's new life.
Register today to embark on “Bringing All to God’s Table,” where spirituality will meet social justice, and where together, we will learn how each of us is uniquely called to help our parish dismantle racism and xenophobia–from within and without–to help foster a world where every individual is celebrated for our distinctive contribution to our shared humanity.
