Come Back to Me: A Lenten Reconciliation Retreat
Saturday, April 12, 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
St. Ignatius Church
As we enter into Holy Week, take some time out of your Saturday afternoon to sit in prayerful reflection with Jesus. The Lenten Reconciliation Retreat will include Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, reflection, guided prayer and opportunities for Reconciliation. Stay for a few minutes or stay for the whole retreat.
Priests will be available to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation, given to the Church so that each of us can hear, physically and not just spiritually, that God loves us and wants us to love others. No matter what we have done that separates us from God, God’s love keeps reaching out to us, and calling us to become the person we most desire to be. The Sacrament of Reconciliation begins with an honest look at yourself, asking, “What is it in my life, right now, that keeps me from receiving God’s love and sharing that love with other people?” As we prepare for Easter, take some time during this afternoon of prayer to let these things go and return to God’s love.
