Simple Needs Sunday

For the next collection we will be supporting St. Anthony’s Foundation. They need men’s warm clothing and children’s shoes (new or gently used). Please bring these items to any Mass on this weekend and put them in the baskets by the Parker Avenue doors. Thank you for your generosity!

Founded in 1950, St. Anthony’s is the most comprehensive safety net service center in San Francisco. Every day, they provide essential services, health care, and gateways to stability to families and individuals in need.

Simple Needs Sundays are regular Parish collection drives in support of the most basic and urgent needs of our homeless and struggling neighbors. Essential everyday items that are in constant need and short supply on the streets, like toiletries, socks and underwear, or a warm jacket and cap in the winter, are collected on a rotating basis at Masses on the second Sunday of most months. These are distributed locally through various Catholic service agencies directly to those most in need.
