Thanksgiving Pie Drive

The Shelter Meal Program at St. Ignatius Parish is having its annual Thanksgiving Pie Drive on Sunday November 19th. This year our partner is Bayview Senior Services.

With your support, we’ll provide 125 homemade or purchased apple or sweet potato pies to three San Francisco senior centers: Western Addition Senior Center, Rosa Parks Senior Center, and the Dr. George W. Davis Senior Center, providing approximately 1000 desserts for low-income older adults and adults with disabilities on Thanksgiving Day.

Please contribute today by either: donating one or more homemade or store-bought pies; or donating money to purchase pies: $30 buys one sweet potato pie at Yvonne’s Southern Sweets, a local, minority-owned bakery in the Bayview Hunters Point neighborhood, where we’ll buy the pies.
