Need a little help? Or know a parishioner who does? The St. Ignatius Parish Neighbor to Neighbor ministry is available for St. Ignatius parishioners, who will be helped by other parishioners. Here are examples of how Neighbor to Neighbor can help:
If you would like some help, or know a parishioner who does: please send an email to [email protected] with “Request” in the subject field, or call this number and leave a message: 415-407-4414.
If you would like to VOLUNTEER to be a Neighbor to Neighbor helper: you can send an email to [email protected] with “Volunteer” in the subject field.
How does this work for Volunteers? Volunteers will be on an email list, and when a request comes in, an email goes out to the whole list to see who can respond to the request for assistance. Putting your name on the volunteer list means you will get an email each time a service is requested. It does not mean you are required to fill that particular need. You can choose at your convenience how and when you would like to help out. In addition to the usefulness of this program in a neighborly sort of way, the program builds strong relationships among our parishioners, and brings to life our Jesuit commitment to Service. We hope to see you on our list!
